Our IPBurger review found that this company has established itself as a versatile proxy provider with some rare, specialized products. Pricing is enterprise level and IPBurger’s offerings cover residential, mobile, and datacenter proxies but they also add some unique touches like Fresh Dedicated IPs that have never been used before and great content on unique use cases like affiliate link testing. While the service has high-quality features, some aspects, especially pricing, can be challenging for individual or small-scale users due to enterprise-oriented plans.
Fresh Dedicated IPs
One of IPBurger’s standout offerings is its Fresh Dedicated IPs. This product provides users with exclusive, unused IP addresses, helping users reduce risks associated with recycled IPs, like bans or CAPTCHAs. Fresh Dedicated IPs are a rarely advertised feature in the proxy industry and appeal strongly to businesses or individuals that rely on clean IPs. By offering IPs that have not been previously assigned or flagged for abuse, IPBurger can offer clean, reliable access, which is especially beneficial for use cases where IP reputation is paramount, such as e-commerce, social media management, and security testing.
Affiliate Link Testing Proxies
IPBurger is among the few providers offering affiliate proxies for link testing—a unique use case that highlights the company’s ability to tailor its services to the evolving needs of digital marketers. For affiliate marketers, testing links across various regions to ensure functionality is essential. This service enables affiliate managers to verify that their links work correctly and consistently across different locations, providing an effective solution for a niche yet critical area of affiliate marketing. While other companies offer proxies that can do this, IPBurger provides specific content geared toward these users indicating a deep understanding of specialized use cases.
Expansive Documentation with Unique Use Cases
In our IPBurger review we found their documentation is expansive and covers a broad range of use cases, from setting up proxies to troubleshooting common issues. While the depth of information is appreciated, the help documentation leans more into sales pitches than it needs to, which can detract from its usability. We found the same with the resources on their blog. Users seeking specific instructions or straightforward support may find it challenging to filter through promotional content to locate needed information. Despite this, IPBurger’s website is rich with educational material, giving users insights into best practices for deploying proxies across different projects and industries.
Trial and Money Back Guarantee
IPBurger offers a 30-day Money Back Guarantee which is the most generous amount of time we have seen offered from any provider. This guarantee is referenced in their TOS: “You may cancel your account with a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase (“Money Back Guarantee”).” However, another page listing Terms and Conditions also clearly state “Due to the intangibleness of the service we provide along with the fact that we do not monitor our customer’s activity, we do not offer refunds. However, store credit may be issued under certain circumstances.”
So which is it? There’s no way for us to gain transparency into this so we can’t say either way. Another factor to consider in this IPBurger review is the lack of a free trial. Many proxy providers offer at least a limited trial period to allow potential customers to test out the service before committing to a subscription. IPBurger does not provide this option, making it a leap of faith for new customers, especially those on a budget.
We recognize that a 30-day money back guarantee essentially is a free trial – and a much longer one than most companies offer. You just have to pay upfront and we don’t have information on how easy it is to get a refund or if there are specific policies governing when it will or will be offered. Their terms did not state any, so, giving them the benefit of the doubt, it seems it’s always available.
If this 30-day term is honored, it really gives you a chance to test the network and make sure it works for your use case without having to cram the testing in around other things that come up in work or life and is very consumer friendly. More clarity on the issue, stated in published legal docs is preferred, however.
Pricing Structure and Gaps in Accessibility
One of the main drawbacks in our IPBurger review is its pricing model, which is structured heavily towards larger-scale users and enterprise clients. While this focus can benefit businesses requiring large amounts of data and higher flexibility, it can make the service less accessible to individuals or small businesses.
IPBurger’s pricing structure has somewhat irregular pricing tiers with some, but not all of their products. For example, with their Fresh Dedicated Proxy product, the available options gradually go from one to three IPs and then leap to a minimum of 100 IPs, creating a significant gap for users needing a medium amount. This pricing structure may work for larger clients needing a bulk of IPs, but it could alienate mid-sized businesses or users with more limited requirements. Without a smooth tiered system that accommodates a range of needs, some potential users may struggle to find a plan that matches both their budget and scale.
High Entry Costs and Prices
IPBurger’s prices are higher than even other Enterprise level providers and to be honest, we did not see the same set of tools or support to justify such higher prices. While the prices are not higher for all products, we found some that we could not really understand the gaps for. For example, entry level for their Regular and Premium Residential plans will cost you $69/month and $79/month respectively. There is no Pay as You Go, so that’s a big commitment.
Similarly, their mobile rotating proxies start at $99/month for just 5 GB, nearly $20 per GB when most other providers have pay as you go plans for under $9/GB.
No Side-by-Side Comparison
In terms of pricing, it can be confusing. For example, IPBurger’s site doesn’t offer an easy way to directly compare regular and premium plans for residential proxies. Users must sift through each plan’s details, a tedious process that could be simplified with clearer language. We printed the pricing tables for their regular and premium rotating residential proxies to do a side by side comparison and still don’t really understand the difference because the explanations are vague. Improvements can be made here.
Customer Support
IPBurger advertises 24-hour customer support with real humans.
However, in our interactive IPBurger review, we did not have a good experience. They appear to have an AI chatbot to answer questions, which is fine these days, but it could not provide simple information. We asked for a link its API docs and were prompted first to provide an email, then, when we asked again, they offered for us to play a game.
We don’t feel this is an enterprise level experience and represents a mismatch with their pricing.
We did get a human reply about 10 minutes later, which is a reasonable amount of time, but then we had two different people chatting at us with clearly different skill levels and giving us different answers. We eventually got their API docs link but it took a long time and we had to really work hard to achieve this goal. It really should have been a quick reply from the chat bot.
In Summary
Our IPBurger review highlights that this provider is geared toward enterprise users with specialized needs, especially in areas like affiliate link testing and Fresh Dedicated IPs. While IPBurger brings a lot to the table, it seems to fall short in advanced tools that other enterprise-level providers often have, despite having higher prices in general. It also has conflicting information about refunds and the support experience was not great. Further, we were unable to verify their claimed business registration. Though IPBurger is likely too well established to be a fly-by-night operation, this is concerning. The network quality has good reviews so for businesses needing clean, reliable IPs and specialized use cases without deep integration needs, IPBurger is a solid choice. However, those requiring extensive API integration or advanced enterprise tools may want to consider alternative providers at this price point.
ProxyMatch
ProxyMatch helps you filter through our ranked proxy providers to find the best provider for your company’s needs. TRY IT NOWReview Score Explained
What is the Review Score?
The Review Score is a proprietary analysis that takes into account both objective and subjective inputs from three sources: the proxy provider, our review process and customers of the proxy company.
Why is it Important?
The primary reason is safety. We put a lot of effort into trying to identify providers who might be up to nefarious things. There are too many horror stories out there of providers who disappeared overnight and / or were doing nefarious things on their network. Once a safety baseline is established, you can use the Review Score to assess potential providers based on the things that matter to you.
Should I always choose a company with the higher review score?
Absolutely not. First figure out which companies meet your needs. The review score just alerts users to some potential issues they should look into. This doesn’t mean the potential issues are relevant to you or even valid.
There are cases where a company with a review score of 7 might be a better fit for you than a company with a score of 9. Focus on the specific features and needs you have. Below a score of 7, we generally do not even partner with or promote sites and you should exercise caution if you see a red score.
How is it Calculated?
Good question! We’re not telling. 🙂 However, we say that trust is the most important thing. Using a proxy service has risks when you don’t know what the company behind it is up to so we do as much vetting as possible from independent resources and our own research. The algorithm will grow over time.
Can proxy companies buy a higher review score?
Absolutely not. They cannot buy higher rankings in the ProxyMatch results either. While we do take company input to help us better understand their offerings, they cannot request higher scores. We do review our scores periodically and when providers make changes to policies or offerings.

Customer reviews
Negative input we heard about IPBurger from their customers had a lot of complaints about the network and it not working for intended purposes. It’s hard to know what those purposes were so we’ll leave judgement up to our readers. Customer support has not had good reviews.
As we often see, despite negative feedback about the network, there have also been positive reviews about it with customers citing precise geo-targeting and seamless switching of proxies. Though newer, their scraping API appears to also be getting good reviews.
Our IPBurger review is therefore a little inconclusive regarding the network. Good news is they have a 30-day money back guarantee. As long as that’s honored, you can see if it works for your use case!
