In our Ping Proxies review, we found a well-established company that’s been quietly building a reliable proxy network since 2016. Offering static and rotating residential proxies and static datacenter proxies, Ping Proxies caters to a range of use cases, from data scraping and social media management to SEO and SERP analysis. We loved what we saw in regards to their pricing and pricing policies and new web site which we discuss below.
API Coming Soon
While currently missing a public API, Ping Proxies has announced that they plan to launch a REST API in Q4 2024, which would further elevate their offerings and give advanced users more control over their connections. This was the one area we felt Ping falls behind its competitors, so hopefully this addition will lock them into the upper echelons of the proxy provider space. The API is advertised to have 40+ operational endpoints.
A Maturing Company
We love the Ping Proxies story. It was started as a side gig when its founder was still in college but has grown into a very mature and sound company. This is evidenced by its current work on launching an API and is clear in their recent web site design as well. The new site has stellar document that is easy to navigate – as is the rest of the site. And the pricing is not only clear, but also interactive. It is literally the most efficient pricing and ordering interface we have seen on any proxy site. In fact, we can show you the whole thing in one screenshot.
Ping Proxies Prices and Pricing
In our Ping Proxies review, we found a lot of pricing practices that we loved. Until recently, they offered a generous 60 day window to use data you purchased, but recently extended that so now, you get to keep the data forever! Not a lot of companies do it but we’re glad to see Ping Proxies being an early adopter of this strategy. When you mix this policy with the fact that you can garner up to a 64% percent discount off standard pricing based on getting large quantities and longer payment cycles, it gives you a great opportunity save big time. You make a larger commitment, but you know that data will last forever.
These pricing policies are very customer-centric and is probably one of the reasons their customers come out in droves with positive things to say about them.
Prices for Ping Proxies’ services are mid-range and competitive. Their residential proxies, for example, start at $75 for a 10 GB plan, while other products like datacenter proxies come with straightforward, transparent per-IP pricing that includes unlimited bandwidth, and more importantly – no additional fees. Ping Proxies offers static datacenter proxies, but not rotating. Overall, Ping Proxies is a cost-effective option, particularly for users who value flexibility or have fluctuations in their usage month-to-month.
Policies and Protecting their Network
Ping Proxies also has one of the most comprehensive Acceptable Use policies we’ve seen. In addition to separating it out from the long Terms of Service to make it clear, they also specifically publish a list of restricted domains so you are clear before you buy. This shows a commitment to following the law and a commitment to making policies clear rather than just doing a standard vague policy to cover their bases. We need more transparency like this in the industry. Ping Proxies review their network activity proactively to make sure it’s not being abused.
They are also a member of the IWF which fights child sex abuse on-line and uses some of their blocklists to ensure their network is not being used inappropriately. This is just more evidence of a company that has matured and takes their position seriously.
Their KYC practices are also fully disclosed before you sign up with them. Despite the positive aspects of KYCs, we’ve found that some proxy service customers are put off when they are only told after they pay that there will be a KYC so we love up-front disclosures like the one below. Solid work from a relatively new company.
As recently as this year, some of their service offerings had very limited locations from which you could get proxies, but they seem to have expanded that quite a bit this year. They now have a network of over 35 million IPs covering 195 countries. It’s not the largest network out there, but they are showing good efforts to expand it.
Ping proxies appears to have a relatively smaller team but their customers rave about their support. Using proxies can be complicated depending both on your experience and the complexities of your use case so, while customer service is important in any industry, it’s often a critical component for proxy users. Our communications with the team were clear, helpful, efficient and felt personal. It’s a great touch!

What is the Review Score?
The Review Score is a proprietary analysis that takes into account both objective and subjective inputs from three sources: the proxy provider, our review process and customers of the proxy company.
Why is it Important?
The primary reason is safety. We put a lot of effort into trying to identify providers who might be up to nefarious things. There are too many horror stories out there of providers who disappeared overnight and / or were doing nefarious things on their network. Once a safety baseline is established, you can use the Review Score to assess potential providers based on the things that matter to you.
Should I always choose a company with the higher review score?
Absolutely not. First figure out which companies meet your needs. The review score just alerts users to some potential issues they should look into. This doesn’t mean the potential issues are relevant to you or even valid.
There are cases where a company with a review score of 7 might be a better fit for you than a company with a score of 9. Focus on the specific features and needs you have. Below a score of 7, we generally do not even partner with or promote sites and you should exercise caution if you see a red score.
How is it Calculated?
Good question! We’re not telling. 🙂 However, we say that trust is the most important thing. Using a proxy service has risks when you don’t know what the company behind it is up to so we do as much vetting as possible from independent resources and our own research. The algorithm will grow over time.
Can proxy companies buy a higher review score?
Absolutely not. They cannot buy higher rankings in the ProxyMatch results either. While we do take company input to help us better understand their offerings, they cannot request higher scores. We do review our scores periodically and when providers make changes to policies or offerings.

Customer reviews
Despite the fact that Ping Proxies has a no refund policy, there is customer feedback saying that they were refunded when proxies didn’t work for a specific purpose. However, by and large, our Ping Proxy review turned up a lot of evidence that customers are satisfied with the quality of the network and proxies and that customer support seems very on top of troubleshooting, delivering fast solutions. Many proxy users need help to really dial things in so we love seeing good reviews about fast troubleshooting. No one wants to put projects on hold for days when they are getting set up just to get a response.
